This post is sponsored by Price*s but the content and opinions expressed here are my own. I have never heard of Price*s Pimento Cheese spread till my friend introduced it to me. Ever since then, we've come up with creative ways to eat it! We mainly just eat it on toast! It is tasty! When my friend invited us out to a picnic with her family, we ate it as a dip. We put it on crackers, bread, and even with sliced cucumbers! She told me how her family has grown up with it and her mom would use it to make mac and (pimento) cheese. How creative! I decided to give it a go and try something creative! I thought of ways I can use Price's Pimento Cheese - what can throw together that is fast, easy, and yummy for the kids? I decided to try and make Pimento Cheese Wontons. It ended up being so good! Price*s Pimento CheeseTaste amazing! I love how quick and easy it is too! I bought Price's Pimento Cheese at HEB in the cheese section. There are different flavors, but I've stuck with the original Price's Pimento Cheese. I bought square wonton wrappers - found in the produce section at HEB. I heated up oil to fry the wontons, I used vegetable oil. I then put a spoonful (2 tablespoons or so) of Price's Pimento Cheese on the wonton wrapper. I then beat an egg and put a drop of egg on each corner of the wonton wrapper and put the opposite corners together. I then sealed the wonton. Last, I fry the wontons in the oil! Heat was medium high and fried for 5-7 mins - whenever the wrapper is fried. We dip them in chili sauce (for spring rolls). It's a perfect combination of sweet and savory. Kids love them! Quick snack! I've also made these for a house party and it was a hit! I think these would be great for a baby shower, or any get together! Let me know what you think!
